James E. Lind

President and CEO

Jim Lind has more than 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and is a second-generation pipeline engineering manager. A recently completed business endeavor involved the formation and executive management of Legion Terminals, LLC, a two million barrel crude oil terminal in the strategic market center of Johnson's Corner in McKenzie County, ND. This project was purchased by Plains All American Pipeline.

Prior to Legion Terminals, Jim was responsible for the construction, development and operation of Arrow Midstream Services, LLC (and subsidiaries) where he served as President and CEO of the North Dakota-based crude oil, natural gas and water gatherer in the Bakken which was successfully sold to Crestwood MLP. Prior to that he formed Midstream Energy Services, LLC in 2004 and served as its President and Manager until November 2008. Jim guided Midstream to the development of nearly $150 million in asset value through privately negotiated acquisitions and the grass roots development of two key processing and treating assets of the company with operations in five states (Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Indiana).

Prior to 2004, he was Executive Vice President of and partner in Frontier Energy Services, LLC where he guided the company through two natural gas processing/treating/gathering acquisitions and one grass roots treating project, culminating with a successful sale to the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. Jim managed all business development, gas supply, engineering, and operating activities during his tenure with Frontier. Prior to Frontier, he was President and majority owner of Mercury Energy, Inc. where he initiated contractual relationships with all four major natural gas industry segments (production, pipeline, marketing, and utility) to fund corporate development of engineering and investment opportunities and prepared and managed a major FERC 7c application for interstate pipeline facilities. In its initial year of operation, Mercury Energy exceeded 200% growth of original invested capital. Completed projects involved engineering, business evaluation, and acquisition due diligence, ranging from $600 thousand to $50 million in the upstream and midstream sectors. Jim also negotiated long-term funding relationships for partnership interest in the development of two domestic 500MW natural gas-fired electric generation facilities.

Jim is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Texas A&M Association of Former Students and 12th Man Foundation.

Zachary Hixon

Operations Manager

As Operations Manager for Legion, Zachary Hixon is responsible for the company's operations and engineering support, including development and implementation of operational controls and procedures, management of the collection and verification of operating data, as well as coordinating procurement. Zachary will also assist in the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and forecasts and work closely with commercial development, oil and gas sales accounting to coordinate deliveries, and train/develop skills of field supervisors.

Zachary joins Legion with an extensive history and proven experience in the energy industry. Previously, Zachary held the position of North Texas Area Manager for Kinder-Morgan where he was instrumental in growing and operating a 10 MMcfd gathering system into a system capable of handling 160 MMcfd with processing and treating. Prior to Kinder-Morgan, Zachary also held key positions in the Rockies and Mid-Continent regions for Copano, Encana and Transok.

Matthew Klentzman

Director of Marketing

Matthew Klentzman brings more than 12 years of energy industry experience to his position as Director of Marketing. Matthew is responsible for the negotiation and management of all company oil, gas, and water purchases in addition to, transportation and processing contracts related to gathering, processing, and/or disposal assets. He is also responsible for business development, contract administration, and budgeting.

Matthew recently served as Vice President of Emerging Technology/Research and Development for DuCalls where he produced and supervised patent development for emerging technologies. Prior to DuCalls, he served as Interim Chief Operations Officer at Brightside Energy where his primary involvement focused on business development, client acquisitions, and client relations. Before his position at Brightside, Matthew served as Chief Operations Officer at Ahkeo Holdings, LLC where he oversaw all business, operations, and engineering processes in addition to establishing research and development partnerships with universities in Puerto Rico. He also created internship and employment programs.

Matthew is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and an Associate degree in Business Administration.
